The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life Events

A former technology sales professional, Mark Moshayedi now functions as the CEO of MSM Global Ventures, a privately-owned real estate investment firm in California. Beyond his professional duties, Mark Moshayedi is involved with community and supports the American Cancer Society (ACS).

Each year, the ACS oversees numerous Relay For Life events in the United States with the aim of raising funds to support men and women diagnosed with cancer. The money raised by Relay For Life participants funds a range of patient care programs, the creation of educational resources, and research into cancer.

In 2015 alone, Relay For Life events raised over $150 million to fund research projects throughout the United States. Further, money raised via the program helped the ACS provide transportation to over 316,000 doctor’s appointments and provided 361,000 free nights of lodging at the organization’s Hope Lodge facilities for patients and their families.

To join a Relay For Life event, visit www.cancer.org and search for an event near you using the website’s zip code search tool.
