For nearly four years, Mark Moshayedi has served as CEO of MSM Global Ventures, a real estate investment and development firm based in Newport Beach, California. In addition to this role, he is also a member of the board of directors at BookingPal, an online reservation platform that specializes in finding vacation rentals. Outside of his work, Mark Moshayedi is a committed philanthropist and supports organizations such as the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
Last May, the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) was among the 20 organizations across the United States named a Workplace of the Year by The Advisory Board Company. The award is given to organizations that have demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering an environment of positive employee engagement. Only one other children’s hospital received this award.
According to The Advisory Board Company, employees count as “engaged” when they express a strong sense of loyalty to a company. These workers often go beyond the call of duty, doing much more than is required of them in order to help the organization achieve its goals. In receiving the award, CHOC shows that it is a workplace that intrinsically fosters this degree of commitment from its staff.
